Job description

Senior Program Protection Management Analyst
Overview:
Coordinate program efforts to protect critical program information (CPI) with minimal cost, schedule or performance impact. Provide assistance to activities and supporting government organizations, as well as Research and Technology Protection (RTP) support to technology initiatives. Provides operational and administrative security support to dynamic NAVAIR program offices. Demonstrate the integration of threat evaluations, vulnerability analyses, risk assessments and customer needs with engineering practices. The position requires leadership, training and development skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Managing the cost, schedule and performance of technology protection effort.
  • Serve as the main TP point of contact (POC) for the Government Program Manager and the Contractors senior management.
  • Directly contribute to program efforts in several areas, including cost management/avoidance, schedule estimation and tracking, contract performance management, risk management, requirements analysis and quality assurance activities.
  • Ensure proper performance of tasks necessary to ensure the most efficient and effective execution of the contract.
  • Utilize expert communication skills needed to direct the skilled technical resources and report on the technical progress, issues and problem areas, as well as write and review technical documents.
  • Lead technical assessments of CPI, Security Classification Guides (SCGs) and Program Protection Plans (PPPs)
  • Facilitate Technology Protection Integrated Product Teams (IPT) in the analysis of programs for potential CPI, the evaluation and identification of CPI, and the development and commendation of appropriate countermeasures to protect CPI to program management for their consideration.
  • Disseminate TP policies and best practices, while effectively managing implementation of Critical Program Information (CPI) identification, Program Protection Planning (PPP), Operational Security (OPSEC), Classification Management and Foreign Disclosure (FD) planning processes to ensure mission success
  • Produce reports, and assist in the development, coordination, and implementation of RTP and security policy

Required Experience and Skills:
  • 8 years of experience in Program Protection is required.
  • Basic understanding of the various security disciplines such as Physical Security (PHYSEC), Personnel Security (PERSEC), Information System Security (INFOSEC), Industrial Security (INDUSEC), and Cyber Security.
  • Working knowledge of appropriate DoD and Service Directives, Regulations, Instructions and guidelines.

Desired Experience and Skills:
  • Experience with Anti-Tamper Engineering is a plus.

Required Education:
  • HS Diploma

Required Security Clearance:
  • Active SECRET required; Top Secret, SCI eligible is desired
