Centralized application management represents a high-visibility opportunity to influence innovation, Agile adoption, and implement business-critical change in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment. The Product Management and AI solutions Senior Manager role will provide technical expertise to the EORM team and will be responsible for end-to-end product management for applications that support corporate risk management platforms and help advance Schwab’s risk management and compliance goals by driving the development and execution of innovative AI product & workflow experiences.

What you’ll do:

As a member of RTAM, the candidate will be responsible for supporting risk technology product management throughout the software development lifecycle, while working in a fast paced and continually evolving Agile environment. Additionally, the candidate will help analyze and implement new AI related features into risk management products and processes.

Act as a Product Owner for the Scrum teams that develop the Corporate Risk Management technology solutions that you are accountable for Develop, adapt and convey the system and project vision to your application team(s).

  • Assist with onboarding additional risk technology products as part of the Corporate Risk Management product centralization effort.
  • Distill MVPs and iterative deliverables from long-term product visions and goals, focusing on risk and compliance transformation.
  • Champion the near-term product vision, ensuring alignment with Schwab’s strategic goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the product lifecycle from concept to launch, including user research with risk and compliance teams, requirements gathering, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks throughout the product development process, with a focus on regulatory and operational risk.
  • Build enablement and onboarding plans to empower internal risk and compliance teams to leverage platform tools.
  • Rigorously and dynamically prioritize the product roadmap, ensuring the development team is creating value with each iterative delivery.
  • Partner with risk stakeholders to identify impactful projects and define evaluation strategies for measuring and monitoring the quality of AI output in risk and compliance
What you have

Required Qualification:

  • Six (6+) years experience of technical product management experience
  • Demonstrable understanding of generative AI technology, architecture, and terminology including LLMs, RAG, system prompts, agentic, etc.
  • Experience using/building generative AI solutions, ideally in risk, compliance, or cyber domains.
  • Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability in communicating with different business partners
  • Highly responsive, leveraging ability to multi-task, work efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-starter with outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and desire to continually reevaluate existing products and processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Risk Management experience is desirable
  • Experience building Agentic workflows (e.g., with Copilot Studio, Vertex AI Agent builder etc.).
  • Scrum Agile methodology experience
  • Prior experience with GRC tools such as Archer or IBM OpenPages.
  • Prior experience with financial crimes tools such as Actimize
  • Understanding of a relational data model and experience in data extraction across multiple related objects/tables
  • Familiarity with financial services and the regulations that apply to the industry
