Job description

About This Role
Long-term concrete formwork carpenter needed for a large industrial jobsite near Cartersville/Carrollton, GA. This position runs through mid-2028 and is ideal for experienced formworkers who know foundations, anchor bolts and multiple form systems. We'll consider local candidates and nationwide tradespeople willing to travel or relocate. Qualified non-local hires receive $500/week per diem. Open to currently employed candidates and a wide pay range based on experience (up to $28/hr DOE).
What You'll Do
  • Set, assemble and strip concrete forms for foundations, footings and slabs on a large industrial site
  • Install and set anchor bolts and embeds to specified tolerances
  • Work with multiple form systems (Symons, Efco, Doka), gang forms and handset formwork
  • Read and interpret structural and layout drawings to verify elevations, dimensions and anchor locations
  • Coordinate with crane crews and other trades, keep work area safe and maintain tools/equipment

What We're Looking For
  • Proven concrete formwork experience on commercial/industrial or power projects
  • Experience setting anchor bolts and working foundations/footings
  • Familiarity with Symons, Efco, Doka, gang form and handset systems
  • Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and basic site layout
  • Comfortable working on an active, large-scale industrial jobsite and able to travel/relocate as needed

Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • OSHA 10 (required) or OSHA 30 (preferred)
  • NCCER carpentry/formwork certification or equivalent preferred
  • Crane signaling/rigging experience or flagging certification a plus
  • Ability to read English-language structural drawings; bilingual candidates welcome
  • May be required to pass drug screen and background check
