Job description

ABOUT RETURNPRO
Retailers have spent decades perfecting the forward supply chain. Returns are the last unsolved frontier, and ReturnPro is solving it. We built the first fully integrated, technology-enabled reverse logistics and ReCommerce platform, unifying distribution, refurbishment, recovery analytics, and disposition strategy into one scalable network.
In the U.S. alone, returns represent an $850B annual challenge. They erode margins, disrupt logistics, damage customer experience, and generate enormous waste. Through our integrated solution spanning SaaS technology, reverse supply chain services, and recommerce, we turn returns from a cost center into a recovery engine. To date, we've diverted more than 100 million pounds of product from landfills, and we're just getting started.
This is not incremental improvement. This is redefining how retailers handle returns at scale. At ReturnPro, returns are a strategic advantage. We are consolidating and professionalizing this space with disciplined execution, data-driven performance, and measurable results.

PEOPLE LEADERSHIP
THE OPPORTUNITY
ReturnPro is seeking a driven, operationally sharp Assistant General Manager to co-lead site-level execution at our Fort Worth, TX facility, a high-volume, multi-program reverse logistics operation processing hundreds of thousands of units monthly across consumer electronics, tools, outdoor gear, and general merchandise.
You'll partner directly with the General Manager to run the floor, own the numbers, build the team, and continuously push operational performance toward target. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in complexity, drives accountability, and is relentless about improvement. If you have strong instincts for operations, people, and process, and you want to operate at the leading edge of a fast-growing industry, this is your seat.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Operations & Performance
  • Partner with the GM to drive day-to-day facility operations across all programs, maintaining throughput, accuracy, and team performance against ReturnPro targets
  • Own UPH/CPU performance across all warehouse activities: receiving, check-in, testing, put-away, pick, pack, and ship, closing the gap between current and target metrics
  • Analyze operational data to identify root causes of performance gaps, build improvement plans, and execute with urgency
  • Maintain operational cadence across a 200,000 sq ft, multi-program facility operating under unique SLAs per customer program
  • Monitor Days on Hand, yield, and cost-per-unit across programs; escalate and respond to deviations proactively
  • Support budget preparation, P&L management, and General Ledger oversight to control costs and drive profitability

Process & Continuous Improvement
  • Identify and lead process improvement initiatives across receiving, production, and fulfillment workflows, prioritizing highest-impact gaps first
  • Communicate and enforce ReturnPro Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring alignment across all facility teams
  • Leverage WMS data and operational reporting to drive decisions; maintain audit-ready documentation at all times
  • Champion facility-wide initiatives including safety programs, equipment preventative maintenance, and building upkeep
  • Develop and implement solutions to address cost overruns, throughput shortfalls, and supply/packaging waste

People Leadership & Culture
  • Lead, coach, and develop teammates to meet company, customer, and operational objectives, building a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
  • Lead facility recruitment, onboarding, and training to ensure new teammates are set up for success from day one
  • Drive morale initiatives that reinforce engagement, retention, and a culture people want to be part of
  • Control labor costs through smart scheduling, efficient deployment, and reduced overtime, without sacrificing throughput or team health
  • Collaborate in developing, implementing, and enforcing safety policies to maintain a safe, compliant, OSHA-ready work environment

WHAT YOU BRING
Experience & Background
  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or related field - or 2+ years of warehouse/logistics management experience
  • Hands-on experience in reverse logistics, distribution, or high-volume processing environments
  • Track record managing multi-program or multi-shift operations
  • P&L exposure: budget prep, cost control, and performance reporting
  • Experience with WMS platforms, handheld scanner workflows, and data-driven operations
  • Familiarity with OSHA, EPA regulations, and safety compliance

Skills & Competencies
  • Strong analytical instincts: you read a KPI dashboard and immediately know where to look
  • Process improvement mindset: you see inefficiency as a solvable problem, not background noise
  • People leader: you develop teammates, hold the bar, and make the team want to follow you
  • Excellent communicator - written, verbal, and in front of a room
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing competing priorities without dropping the ball
  • Operates with integrity, professionalism, and a bias toward action

HOW WE WORK
ReturnPro's culture is built around five core values that show up in behavior, not just on walls:
People-Centric Excellence
We put our teammates first. High performance and human dignity are not in tension.
Adaptive Evolution
The industry is changing fast. We evolve faster.
Value-Driven Partnerships
We show up for our customers and each other with integrity and follow-through.
Practical Sustainability
We build for the long term operationally, environmentally, and as a team.
Continuous Improvement
Good enough never is. We challenge every process, every week.
Ready to lead the frontier of reverse logistics?
