Job Description

The Secondary Spotter serves as quality control, following up behind our Primary Spotters to ensure recovery opportunities are not missed. This role focuses on revisiting aging accounts, rechecking previously worked locations, and identifying overlooked recovery opportunities that require a second look. The position operates between our daytime and overnight teams and also supports License Plate Recognition (LPR) and Density Map opportunities that may not be fully captured through standard recovery operations.

This is a field-based position operating both daytime and nighttime hours. You’ll spend your time driving assigned routes, locating additional vehicles, rechecking previously found vehicles that were obstructed, generating new license plate hits, maintaining account compliance with our clients, and communicating opportunities to our recovery teams. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.


Responsibilities

·       Review accounts aged 5 days and older to identify missed recovery opportunities and convert them into successful recoveries.

·       Locate vehicles previously identified but inaccessible during prior attempts.

·       Recheck and monitor high-probability locations.

·       Maintain detailed notes and update accounts.

·       Assist with quality control on aging inventory.

·       Perform daytime checks of places of employment or field searches as requested by the company skip team.

Requirements

·       Valid Driver’s License

·       Clean Driving Record

·       Over the age of 23 due to Insurance Requirements

·       Foundational knowledge of vehicle makes, models, and body styles

·       Repossession experience

Preferred Experience

·       Prior Repossession Experience

·       Experience in handling multiple zones or areas at once

·       Strong knowledge of local territory

·       LPR system experience

Physical Requirements

·       Ability to sit and drive for extended periods

·       Ability to enter and exit a vehicle frequently

·       Ability to work in varying weather conditions
