Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess client needs and develop tailored treatment plans that reflect individual goals and circumstances.
• Facilitate therapy sessions utilizing a variety of established therapeutic modalities, incorporating cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based approaches.
• Employ behavioral techniques designed to promote client growth, equipping them with skills to manage personal challenges effectively.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date electronic health records, documenting client progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with clinic protocols and regulations.
• Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to enhance therapeutic skills and stay informed of the latest mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is to provide mental health counseling to a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families experiencing a range of mental health issues. This includes, but is not limited to, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and trauma-related concerns. By fostering a safe and supportive environment, our counselors assist clients in navigating their mental health challenges and working toward meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field is required to ensure a strong foundation in therapeutic practices.
• Candidates must possess an active licensure as either a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• At least two years of post-graduate clinical experience is essential, allowing the therapist to effectively engage with clients and implement therapeutic interventions.
• Exemplary communication and relationship-building skills are crucial to establishing rapport with clients and facilitating productive therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in using electronic medical record systems is beneficial for efficient documentation and compliance.
• Familiarity with the complexities of conducting remote therapy sessions is advantageous, considering our fully virtual work setup.
• Prior experience working with diverse populations is a plus and will enhance the therapist's ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits
