THE ROLE: Manager, GCS Scheduling

If you love television, creativity, strategy, are an innovator and troubleshooter, and most of all, enjoy working on a fast paced, well-coordinated team, this position may be for you.

As a member of A+E's dynamic Global Content Sales and International division, this position plays a critical role in providing scheduling strategy and innovation for the GCS FAST Portfolio (Domestic + International) working closely with the GCS Programming Team (Editorial Strategy). A+E content is seen globally across streaming platforms such as Samsung, Roku, Hulu, Netflix, Amazon and more.

MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Be a key driver and innovator of scheduling strategies for A+E's FAST (Free ad-supported streaming) TV Channel Portfolio (domestic + international) by utilizing data driven decision making and competitive trends and insights
  • With support and direction from the VP of GCS Programming, oversee a portion of channels within the FAST portfolio
  • Manage grids, planners and scheduling documents for FAST
  • Assist VP with the management and alignment with marketing efforts for FAST, including internal communications, trackers and templates
  • Support the team to Identify and screen content acquisitions to support FAST channels
  • Track and monitor competitive resources for insights on FAST in the domestic and global marketplace
  • Support and advise on reports and requests for FAST international expansion, including advisement on process and communications
  • Troubleshoot and advance new scheduling systems
  • Have ability to utilize AI capabilities for efficiency
  • Support including international channel management and sales requests

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of scheduling experience
  • Strong analytics background
  • Excellent writing, communication, public speaking and organizational skills with a growth mindset
  • Advanced PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint: facility to become proficient in Whats'On, Airtable, GPS, Tableau, SharePoint, BOX, AI Tools

CompensationAnnual Pay Range: $81,553 - $95,417Annual Incentive Target: 12.50%
