In this remote position, you'll work closely with a supportive and experienced team of mental health professionals in a fully virtual setting. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations by executing preliminary interviews that document each client's progress from initial consultation through treatment completion.
  • Evaluate clientsโ€™ mental, behavioral, and emotional health using established metrics and best practices.
  • Develop and implement tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on assessed needs and goals.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe and nurturing environment for participants to share and grow.
  • Monitor patient progress throughout the course of treatment, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to create integrated intervention strategies.
  • Manage referrals efficiently, providing clients with the resources they need for hospitalization or specialized care when indicated.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges. You'll also be supporting families coping with the mental health issues of their loved ones. Your expertise will be crucial in helping clients navigate complex emotional landscapes through individual and group therapies tailored to each clientโ€™s unique needs.

Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Active and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Massachusetts.
  • Successful completion of the NCE and/or the NCMHCE.
  • Prior clinical experience as a mental health counselor, demonstrating a solid foundation of counseling skills.
  • Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records, especially experience with systems like AVATAR.
  • Knowledge of and experience with co-existing physical and emotional health conditions, as well as addiction issues.
  • Understanding of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices.
  • A strong understanding of the effects of psychotropic medications and their relevance in treatment planning.
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, facilitating effective interactions with clients and teams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills coupled with a compassionate approach to clinical work.
Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrated experience providing various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and family systems therapy.
  • Previous work in a remote or telehealth environment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience, alongside a sign-on bonus as an incentive for joining our team.
