• Develop a therapeutic rapport with clients by conducting comprehensive intake assessments and individual therapy sessions tailored to their unique situations.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing to support client progress.
• Engage with clients in understanding their needs within the harm-reduction model, offering solutions that align with their preference for moderation or abstinence.
• Provide psychoeducation on community recovery resources such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Smart Recovery, integrating these into the therapeutic plan.
• Lead group therapy sessions and facilitate supportive environments for shared recovery experiences, enhancing client connection and community.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, handling client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on industry best practices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including clinical operations and care coordinators, to deliver seamless patient experiences.
• Optionally contribute to content creation including “Expert Insights” for our community.

• Must hold a valid license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees strongly preferred.
• Prior experience with clinical practices focused on addiction and mental health recovery.
• Strong proficiency in utilizing evidence-based therapies, particularly CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care methodologies.
• Excellent clinical engagement skills and the ability to express empathy effectively.

• Experience working within telehealth platforms or related environments.
• Familiarity with the harm-reduction model in substance use treatment.
• Knowledge of community-based recovery programs and how to navigate client referrals effectively.
