Job description

Would you be interested in joining an established moving business where you'll oversee commercial relocation projects from planning through to completion?


We're working with an established moving and relocation company looking to recruit an O&I Project Manager based in New York, NY. This role will see you managing commercial relocation projects, working closely with clients, internal operations teams and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.


No two O&I Commercial Projects are ever the same, but your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing office and industrial relocation projects from initial planning through to final completion.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients throughout each project.
  • Producing project schedules, move plans and operational timelines.
  • Coordinating moving crews, transport, equipment and third-party suppliers.
  • Carrying out site visits and pre-move meetings to assess project requirements.
  • Monitoring project budgets, documentation and progress throughout the move.
  • Resolving operational issues and communicating project updates with all stakeholders.


To succeed in this role you'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience managing O&I or commercial relocation projects (1-2 years+ required).
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage detailed project plans.
  • Ability to travel to project sites in the NY/CT area.
