Job description

HR Assistant/Receptionist

SAU 41 is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of HR Assistant/Receptionist, 37.5 hours per week. This is a full-time, full-year position. Eligible applicants must be willing and able to work a strict schedule of Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm.

The primary role of the position is to support the HR Department and serve as Receptionist at the SAU Central Office; Responsible for tasks including, but not limited to: answering main phone line and door; processes outgoing and incoming mail; general office filing and tasks; HR functions such as onboarding, filing, reference checks, volunteer processing, scanning, HR inventory, etc.; other duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in Human Resources or Customer Service required; experience in the use of personal computers and other modern office equipment, including office software and budgeting software; Proficiency in basic math skills and business English; The right candidates will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate well with others, as well as organizational skills, which are critical to being successful in this role.
