Position Summary

The Administrative Assistant II provides administrative and operational support for the management team within the North Region. This position manages appointment schedules for the management team and represents the region in cross-departmental and community initiatives. The Administrative Assistant II assists customers with the loan application process and prepares documents and disclosures to facilitate the closing process. This position reports to the Regional President and provides excellent customer service to employees while demonstrating the Company values and supporting the mission.

Position Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support for the management team within the North Region
  • Manage appointment schedules for the management team and assist in coordinating meetings and loan closings
  • Serve as regional representative for cross-departmental and community initiatives as requested
  • Coordinate specific events to include Community Council meetings, regional staff meetings, community initiatives, etc.
  • Assist loan customers with the application process
  • Organize and maintain loan documentation, verifying files are complete, current, and compliant with regulatory requirements, internal policies and industry best practices
  • Serve as a liaison between lenders, customers, realtors, attorneys, and internal teams, maintaining effective communication throughout the loan process
  • Assist customers with issues or concerns, recognizing when escalation is needed to improve the customer experience
  • Prepare and maintain reports such as performance objectives for office volume, sales and service goals and internal audit rating
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to refer banking products and services to the appropriate business partner
  • Attend training as requested
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks
  • Adhere to compliance with all federal bank regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 3 years of previous banking experience
  • Knowledge of banking regulations, compliance and industry best practices
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office to include Excel
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while accomplishing daily tasks and meeting deadlines
