Responsibilities

Our guests come to Canyon Ranch to experience services from skin care to massage to salon services. As the Beauty Services Assistant, you will get the guest to the right place, at the right time and ready for their service. Once a guest has concluded their service, they may want to continue to shop for products that have been recommended for home use. You will know what to select, based on the recommendation of the service provider and your training. You will learn how to run our point of sales system.


Qualifications

You will need to have a High School diploma or equivalent.

You will also need a minimum of 2 years’ Retail Sales experience in a high-end retail outlet or any combination of academic education, professional training or work experience, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. You will also need to have a minimum of 1 year of cash handling experience with basic computer skills. It's preferred that you have a minimum ability to type at 30 w.p.m.

To be successful, you will need have excellent customer service and positive interpersonal skills, including the ability to facilitate and mediate sensitive and/or confrontational situations. You will need to be able to develop and maintain satisfactory and effective relationships with all levels of management and staff members, have strong judgment, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. You will also need strong organizational and computer skills, and attention to detail.
