Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support.

Job Summary

Join KBR's elite team at Moron Air Base in Spain as a WRM-AGE Tool Crib/TMDE-PMEL/HAZMAT Specialist and play a pivotal role in supporting military aviation readiness. In this mission-critical expatriate position, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of Composite Tool Kits (CTK), Test Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE), and Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) specifically for the USAFE Air Base Operations Support (UABOS) War Reserve Materiel (WRM) Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) program.

You will serve as the backbone of our War Reserve Equipment - Aerospace Ground Support Equipment (WRM - AGE) support operations, ensuring 100% accountability of tools, seamless monitoring of equipment calibration, and strict compliance with environmental and hazardous material protocols. Roles and Responsibilities

  • CTK/Composite Tool Kit (Tool Crib) Management:
    • Perform daily opening/closing shift inventories and scheduled inspections to ensure the condition and availability of all tools and kits.
    • Maintain 100% tracking and accountability of all Composite Tool Kits (CTKs), special tools, and equipment using TCMax (experience with other similar inventory/tool tracking software is acceptable).
    • Manage the tool replacement process, including purchasing new tools and equipment as required to maintain full operational capability.
    • Administer the Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention program, including the control and management of the U.S. Air Force (USAF) Rag Control Program in accordance with DAFI 21-101.
  • TMDE/PMEL Program Monitoring:
    • Serve as the monitor for the local Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) program. Note: This role does not perform hands-on calibration but runs and monitors the local program through USAFE/Ramstein AB.
    • Utilize the Precision Measurement and Analysis System (PAMS) and TCMax to track and manage all Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE), ensuring items are submitted for calibration on schedule.
  • HAZMAT Specialist & HAZWASTE Management:
    • Act as the HAZMAT Specialist Monitor, ordering materials through the HAZPHARMACY system based on USAF requirements.
    • Manage the Hazardous Waste (HAZWASTE) accumulation, storage, and turn-in process in close partnership with the Base Environmental Section, ensuring strict adherence to the "cradle to grave" lifecycle management process.
    • Maintain up-to-date Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and provide essential chemical hazard training to other AGE section personnel.
  • General Support:
    • Assist the Material Control section with purchasing and general logistics tasks as required.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, enforcing strict safety guidelines for tool control and hazardous material handling.
  • Physical requirements include lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs. unassisted on a regular basis, and stand, bend, or kneel for extended periods in an active flightline/industrial environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • US Citizen
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in logistics, tool and parts management, hazardous material control, or a related field, preferably in a military or civilian aviation environment.
  • Demonstrated experience using automated tracking systems for inventory and asset management, such as TCMax, PAMS, or an equivalent military or civilian logistics database.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Able to obtain and hold a US Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Heavy equipment towing experience and/or a valid forklift operator certification (up to 10k capacity).
  • Prior experience supporting a WRM program or working on a military aircraft base operations support contract.
  • Direct, hands-on expertise with TCMax, PAMS, and USAF HAZPHARMACY procurement systems.
  • Formal training or certification in hazardous material handling and management (e.g., HAZWOPER).
  • Experience with USAF supply and logistics procedures; direct background in USAF supply/logistics AFSCs (e.g., 2S0X1 Materiel Management, 2G0X1 Logistics Plans) or AGE/maintenance-related AFSCs (e.g., 2A6X2) is highly desirable. Equivalent experience in any military branch or civilian aviation is fully acceptable.
  • Familiarity with DAFI 21-101 compliance standards, tool marking, and aviation safety procedures.
  • Heavy equipment towing experience and/or a valid forklift operator certification (up to 10k capacity).
