Job description

Overview

BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina has been a leading insurance and government contract administrator for more than seven decades. Responsibilities
  • Design, code, maintain, and execute simple to complex programs for data extraction, analysis, and presentation for standard and adโ€‘hoc reporting.
  • Assist in developing complex statistical analysis and models to identify datasets and analyze data.
  • Assist with development of project plans and system lifeโ€‘cycle maintenance, including change requests and test plans impacting existing databases.
  • Research new data sources for data projects.
  • Verify existing database data and assist in data collection and management of those databases.

Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field with at least 9 credit hours in statistics (foreign equivalent accepted).
  • Proven experience in data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and programming skills.
