Job description

We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager to become a part of our team! You will help plan and facilitate all real estate activities and transactions.

Role Summary

The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for all physical, in-person, and on-site operations of the properties. This role serves as the primary on-site representative for residents, vendors, and regulatory authorities and ensures that units, common areas, and operations meet required standards.

Core Responsibilities
Leasing & Resident Interaction

  • Conduct all in-person leasing tours
  • Coordinate and execute move-ins and move-outs
  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for residents
  • Address on-site resident concerns and escalate issues as appropriate

Inspections & Regulatory Interaction

  • Prepare units and common areas for inspections under applicable regulatory programs
  • Be physically present during city, county, or state inspections
  • Coordinate corrective actions resulting from inspection findings
  • Document inspection outcomes with photos and notes in AppFolio

Property Operations

  • Perform regular property walks
  • Conduct move-in and move-out inspections
  • Document unit condition and readiness and submit information to draft Unit Turn Work Orders
  • Supervise vendors on-site and verify completion and quality of work
  • Respond to on-site emergencies and safety concerns

Systems/Communications/Admin

  • Maintain accurate unit status and inspection documentation in AppFolio
  • Communicate unit readiness, issues, and findings to Ownership and remote staff
  • Monitor physical mail

This role is perfect for a Assistant Property Manager looking for full-time work. The role will work at our property in Mounds View as well as our office building at 2121 Cliff Dr Eagan overseeing and managing day-to-day operations at Oasys Properties. Previous use of AppFolio or other Property Management Software required.

Schedule: 8:30AM-5:30PM Monday - Friday
