Job description

The Assistant Property Manager plays a vital role in supporting the Property Manager to ensure smooth operations of commercial properties. This role involves overseeing tenant relations, maintaining property standards, and supporting lease and financial administration within a small team environment. The Assistant Property Manager also coordinates with vendors and ensures compliance with regulations, contributing to an efficient and tenant-friendly property management experience.

Candidate will need reliable transportation.    The portfolio consists of multiple properties within a 25 mile range.    

Responsibilities

  • Manage tenant relations and provide excellent customer service
  • Administer leases and assist with lease documentation
  • Coordinate maintenance activities and property inspections
  • Collect rent and track budget expenses
  • Oversee vendor selection and management
  • Monitor property compliance with regulations and policies
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to the Property Manager
  • Support the Property Manager and team in daily operations

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in property management
  • Associate's Degree in Business Administration or related field
