Assistant Property Manager

Location: Parkside of South Tryon, Charlotte NC

Schedule: Full-Time; Weekend availability required

Hourly Rate: $24.00 - $26.00, based on experience

Position Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
  • Experience: Two or more years of residential property management experience or a related position in customer service, hospitality, or sales.
  • Physical: Frequent walking, stairs, standing, climbing, crouching, kneeling, and reaching. Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable, personal vehicle required for travel between communities.
  • Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation is a plus!

Banner Property Management is looking for an Assistant Property Manager to support Parkside Of South Tryon, Charlotte NC. In this role, you'll partner closely with the Property Manager and serve as a steady, professional presence for residents, prospects, and teammates at its location.

This role blends customer service, leasing, accounting, and operations. It's ideal for someone who is warm and approachable, organized, detail-oriented, and confident managing a variety of responsibilities. You'll assist with accounts receivable, renewals, leasing, resident relations, and administrative functions that help both properties perform at their best.

What You'll Do

  • Support monthly rent collection, posting, and resident notifications
  • Assist with delinquency management, move-out charges, deposit accounting, and reporting
  • Tour apartment homes and assist with leasing, lead follow-up, and application processing
  • Help coordinate renewals and maintain accurate resident files
  • Enter and follow up on service requests to ensure resident satisfaction
  • Contribute to marketing efforts, outreach, and online advertising
  • Maintain renters insurance compliance and support community programs and activities
  • Communicate professionally with residents, prospects, and team members
  • Exercise good judgment and act in the best interest of the community and Company
