Assistant Project Engineer (Water & Wastewater Construction)

$62,400-$85,000 + Full Benefits

Looking to launch your construction management or civil engineering career?

We're hiring an Assistant Project Engineer to support the construction of water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and other critical infrastructure projects throughout New Hampshire and Massachusetts. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced Project Managers while gaining hands-on experience in estimating, project coordination, scheduling, procurement, and field operations.

Whether you have a couple years of construction experience or are an ambitious recent graduate with relevant internship or co-op experience, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do
  • Assist Project Managers throughout the entire project lifecycle
  • Support estimating, quantity takeoffs, and bid reviews
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries
  • Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Assist with project scheduling and budget tracking
  • Maintain project documentation and construction drawings
  • Work with field teams to help solve project challenges
  • Support construction activities on active job sites
What We're Looking For
  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of construction experience preferred (internships or co-ops considered)
  • Interest in heavy civil, infrastructure, or water/wastewater construction
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or AutoCAD is a plus
