Job description

Jump Into a Role Where Your Work Actually Matters

Are you the type of person who spots what needs to be done and takes action without being asked? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days look exactly the same? If you're looking for an opportunity to build your accounting and business operations experience while becoming a key part of a growing team, this could be the role for you.

We're seeking an Accounting Assistant who brings energy, initiative, and a strong work ethic. This position combines accounting support with front office responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, solving problems, and keeping operations running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing

Accounting & Financial Support

  • Enter vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Assist with accounts payable processes and invoice tracking
  • Manage employee timekeeping records and payroll-related data entry
  • Maintain organized financial documentation and records
  • Support reporting, reconciliations, and other accounting projects
  • Assist the accounting team with month-end and ongoing financial activities

Administrative & Office Support

  • Serve as a welcoming first point of contact for visitors and callers
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls professionally
  • Manage incoming mail, deliveries, and office correspondence
  • Maintain records, files, and data within company systems
  • Help coordinate day-to-day office operations and administrative tasks
  • Pitch in wherever needed to help the team stay productive and organized

What We're Looking For

  • Accounting, bookkeeping, administrative, or office support experience
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Confidence working with numbers, data, and multiple systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized in a busy environment

You'll Stand Out If You...

  • Take ownership instead of waiting for direction
  • Enjoy finding ways to make processes run more smoothly
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Bring a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves and help wherever needed

Why This Opportunity?

This is more than a typical accounting support role. It's an opportunity to get your foot in the door with a growing organization, gain exposure to both accounting and business operations, and prove what you're capable of in a contract-to-hire position. If you're ambitious, dependable, and looking for a place where hard work is noticed, we'd love to hear from you.
