Assistant Project Manager – Drive Complete Project Lifecycles for Turnkey Specialty Stone Builds


Job Overview

The Opportunity

You will take ownership of vital project lifecycle phases to directly reduce reliance on senior leadership. This role gives you the autonomy to manage critical documentation and mitigate downstream risks before they impact budgets. You will serve as an essential operational anchor, ensuring precision from initial award through project turnover.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Advance assigned projects through procurement, fabrication, installation, and closeout milestones.
  • Create and maintain detailed Gantt-style project schedules with strict critical path awareness.
  • Manage essential project legal documentation including contracts, lien waivers, and warranty letters.
  • Prepare, track, and collect complex change orders while maintaining accurate logs for the team.
  • Direct the client submittal process to secure rapid, proactive approvals for upcoming work.
  • Coordinate complex fabrication files, purchase orders, and travel logistics for field crews.
  • Escalate project delays and missing field deliverables with clear, proactive context.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 5 years of related project coordination experience within a construction trade.
  • Strong proficiency in reading construction blueprints, architectural specifications, and RFIs.
  • Proven experience independently managing submittals, change orders, and vendor compliance files.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office suite alongside working technical knowledge of AutoCAD software.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to attend occasional client office and jobsite meetings.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent educational background.
  • Background working with stone materials, and fabrication workflows
  • Expertise establishing and maintaining structured, audit-ready digital project folders and tracking systems.
