Job description

The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) and Renown Health invite applications for a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join our growing Behavioral Health Program within our Consult & Liaison Section of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.

Position Highlights:

  • Full-time academic appointment with a robust clinic practice in a collegial physician group with multidisciplinary behavioral health team across 800 bed hospital and outpatient settings
  • Protected time for scholarly activity, including education, QI, or clinical research.
  • Flexibility in schedule across weekdays and weekends
  • Broad exposure to both emergency psychiatry and inpatient consult-liaison
  • Active participation in teaching medical students, residents, fellows, and PA students
  • Opportunities to contribute academically through curriculum development, simulation education, or research initiatives
