Job Summary
Harley Langdale Jr. College of Business Administration seeks qualified applicants for a tenure track position in finance beginning August 1, 2027. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching courses, maintaining scholarly productivity, and participating in service at the department, college, and university levels.
Harley Langdale Jr. College of Business Administration programs are accredited by the AACSB, placing the College among the top 5% of business colleges worldwide. Responsibilities
Department Summary
The responsibilities of the position support the mission and goals of Harley Langdale Jr. College of Business Administration Department of Economics and Finance including:

• Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses. Summer teaching may be available. Teaching assignments will be based on departmental needs and SACSCOC/AACSB Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
• Engaging in quality scholarly activities consistent with AACSB accreditation.
• Actively participating in various departmental, college, and university activities, including participating in student org activities.

Typical Allocation of Duties :
Teaching and scholarship - 80%
Teaches classes and conducts/presents research in the employee's academic discipline.
Service - 20%
Participates in service at the department, college, and university levels.
Required Qualifications

• A terminal/doctorate degree from an AACSB-accredited university in finance is required by the position start date. Applicants must have, at a minimum, defended their dissertation proposal.
• Qualify as a Scholarly Academic by AACSB standards by time of appointment.
• Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and services, as well as scholarship.

Preferred Qualifications

• A record of effective teaching appropriate to the applicant's career stage.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting.
• Experience teaching online/hybrid courses and face-to-face courses.
• Experience in teaching finance courses, data analytics courses, etc.
