Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $96,000.00 Annually

Position: Assistant Professor of Nursing

Department: Nursing

Campus: Fort Wayne, IN & North Manchester, IN, USA

Target Hire Date: October 2026

Manchester University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track, 10-month and a 12-month faculty position as the Assistant Professor of Nursing. These faculty members will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of nurses through excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service.

What You'll Do:

Deliver high-quality instruction in didactic and/or clinical nursing courses.

Collaborate with faculty on curriculum development, innovative teaching methods, and student assessment.

Serve as a professional role model for nursing students and colleagues.

Engage in scholarly activities including discovery, application, integration, and teaching.

Publish and present research findings at appropriate venues.

Mentor students and colleagues in scholarly endeavors.

Advise students and serve as a mentor for peers and student organizations.

Actively support student success and preparation for the NCLEX.

Participate in departmental and university planning, governance, and committees.

Represent the program within the community and professional organizations.

What You'll Need:

Master of Science in Nursing (required).

Active Indiana RN license (or eligibility).

Three years of academic nursing experience at the baccalaureate level preferred.

Demonstrated excellence in nursing practice and education.

Evidence of scholarship and professional engagement.

Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
