Job description

Established and fast-paced dermatology practice seeking dependable, friendly, professional medical assistant.

Our medical assistants are very involved in patient care and take part in everything from charting, sending prescriptions, completing prior authorizations, assisting with biopsies and cosmetic procedures, suture removals, performing phototherapy treatments, assisting with ablative laser procedures and surgeries, etc. Dermatology experience is highly preferred but not required, however medical assisting experience or medical assistant certification is MANDATORY. Competitive pay based on experience.

Knowledge and compliance with HIPAA regulations is required. Experience in Dermatology and with Modernizing Medicine (EMA) software is preferred. Must have outstanding social skills and possess the ability to get along with others and be a team player.
