About Us:

Evolve Psychiatry fast-growing, multi-location outpatient mental health practice dedicated to providing exceptional psychiatric care to our patients while fostering a supportive and collaborative workplace for our employees. We are seeking a highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented Assistant Practice Manager to join our leadership team.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys operations, problem-solving, leadership, and helping a busy healthcare practice run efficiently. The Assistant Practice Manager will work closely with the Practice Manager and department leaders to support the day-to-day operations of the organization.

Position Summary:

The Assistant Practice Manager will provide operational and administrative support to the Practice Manager while helping oversee staff, processes, and daily business operations. This role requires someone who can multitask, communicate effectively, maintain confidentiality, and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Practice Manager with the daily operations of the practice
  • Assist with onboarding and training new employees
  • Conduct ongoing staff training and coaching to ensure consistency and quality
  • Assist with employee performance reviews and performance improvement initiatives
  • Support various Human Resources functions, including employee documentation, policy compliance, and personnel matters
  • Pull, analyze, and distribute operational and performance reports
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets, tracking documents, and internal databases
  • Assist department managers with projects, workflow improvements, and daytoday operational needs
  • Monitor employee productivity and follow up on performance metrics
  • Help create and implement office policies and standard operating procedures
  • Assist with scheduling, staffing coordination, and operational planning
  • Participate in leadership meetings and help execute organizational initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline workflows
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations
  • Assist with special projects and additional management responsibilities as assigned
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 35 years of management or healthcare administration experience
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience required
  • Experience in a healthcare, behavioral health, or medical office setting strongly preferred
  • Advanced proficiency Google Workspace
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment
  • Professional, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems is a plus
