Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care for women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
  • Administer medications and monitor fetal heart rates using FetalLink and Cerner systems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Sustain a safe and supportive environment for patients and families, including explaining conditions and treatments.
  • Ensure adherence to AWOHNN guidelines and manage patient ratios accordingly.
  • Float between Labor & Delivery and Postpartum care as needed, providing assistance in NICU if necessary.
Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse license in the state of California.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of Labor & Delivery experience, with prior travel contract preferred.
  • Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP; Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required.
  • Experience with high-risk deliveries and ability to circulate for c-sections required.
  • Familiarity with Cerner charting and ability to work in acute care settings.
  • COVID Vaccine Required prior to assignment.
