Pay Rate: $18.31 PER HOUR

Reports to: Theater General Manager

Requirements

The Floor Supervisor helps supports theater operations and the management team during each shift. This position helps guide team members, ensures guests receive great service, assists with resolving issues, and helps maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming theater environment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of floor staff, including ushers, box office, and concession employees.
  • Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained throughout the theater.
  • Assist with training employees and providing ongoing coaching and support.
  • Monitor theater cleanliness, safety, and presentation, including auditoriums, lobbies, restrooms, and concession areas.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and incidents professionally and promptly.
  • Support opening and closing procedures.
  • Assist with inventory control by tracking stock levels and assisting with restocking and ordering supplies.
  • Enforce company policies, safety protocols, and operational standards.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding staffing needs, maintenance issues, or operational concerns.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Regular and consistent attendance.
  • Ability to communicate with all ages, genders, and personalities. Ability to effectively and regularly converse in and comprehend in English.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and to be move quickly for sales rush before the start of a movie.
  • Requires the ability to occasionally lift and clean popcorn kettles, warmers, butter machines, hot dog and other food preparation and drink equipment.
  • Accurate cash handling and math skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must complete a Safe Alcohol Service training program and meet the age requirement for alcohol service.
  • Due to the nature of the Theatre Industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the Theatre. Work schedules will include working on holidays, weekends, evenings and alternate shifts.

Work Environment

This job operates in a movie theater environment, sometimes in theaters with limited lighting, with guests coming and going. The pace can be fast, but must always be welcoming. We serve others! This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, and lifting all day,


Required Education and Experience

High school diploma, some college course work preferred

1 year customer service experience

 Supervisory experience


Work Authorization/Security Clearance
