Position Summary
The Pool Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming pool environment for members and their guests. This role focuses on member service, pool deck upkeep, and supporting daily pool operations to ensure an enjoyable experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet members and guests with a warm and friendly attitude and assist with pool check-in procedures.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pool deck, cabanas, and surrounding areas.
  • Remove used towels, trash, and food trays from poolside areas and dispose of them properly.
  • Wash, fold, stock, and distribute towels to ensure members have access to fresh towels throughout the day.
  • Monitor the pool area to ensure compliance with posted pool rules and notify supervisors of safety concerns.
  • Take food and beverage orders from members and deliver them promptly and accurately from the kitchen.
  • Assist members by answering questions and responding to requests promptly.
  • Complete opening, closing, and daily operational checklists.
  • Assist with basic housekeeping tasks in locker rooms, including restocking towels and supplies.
  • Support pool events or activities as directed by supervisors.
  • Follow all health, safety, and facility policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Pool Managers or Supervisors.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Previous customer service experience preferred, especially in hospitality or recreation, but not required.
  • Food Handler’s Permit.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain attentive and professional in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to identify tasks and maintain an organized workspace.
  • Positive attitude and strong commitment to member satisfaction.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Tips/SIPS Certification (required if age 21 or older).
  • CPR and First Aid Certification preferred but not required.
Working Conditions:
  • Work is performed outdoors in a pool environment in various weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required.
  • Must be able to lift and carry items up to 30 pounds.
