Job description

Summary We are seeking multiple motivated graduate students to join our funded project team as student assistants. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to applied research while gaining valuable experience in data collection, workshop coordination, survey administration, and literature review. Career Readiness Competencies: Communication Critical Thinking Professionalism Essential Functions Data Collection: Assist in collecting and organizing data through various methods such as surveys, interviews, and experiments.

Workshop Coordination: Collaborate with team members to plan and execute summer workshops, including scheduling, logistics, and participant communication. Survey Administration: Support the development, distribution, and analysis of surveys to gather relevant information from participants. Literature Reviews: Conduct comprehensive literature reviews to gather relevant research findings and inform project direction.

Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing collected data using statistical software or qualitative analysis techniques. Report Writing: Contribute to writing project reports, research papers, and presentations based on findings and analysis. Collaboration: Work closely with faculty members, fellow graduate students, and project stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the project team as needed. Minimum Qualifications Currently enrolled in a graduate program in any applied sciences, statistics, and engineering. Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Organized and able to remain productive.

Ability to write technical reports. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R) preferred. Prior experience in research, data collection, or workshop coordination is advantageous but not required
