Job description

Position Summary

The position supports the organization's communications efforts by providing graphic design, maintaining documents and promotional materials, managing identity standards, assisting with posting online content, developing and editing multimedia content, and supporting various community outreach tasks.
Duties & Responsibilities
-Designs and produces final artwork, graphics and layout for a variety of media (e.g., printed materials, organization reports, presentations, display materials, social media images, website pages, presentations and more), recommending appropriate formats, binding, paper, etc. for the appropriate use and audience while following accessibility best practices and organization identity standards.
-Maintains the organization's library of publications, forms, letters and other documents, making regular updates as needed, coordinating reviews of materials and keeping associated metadata up to date.
-Help with taking photos and editing images as needed and assist with maintaining, organizing and updating the organization's photo library and identifying photo needs.
-Support community outreach and internal recognition programs, including providing necessary logos and files for giveaway items and supplies and helping staff events as needed.
-In coordination with the Communications Manager and Multimedia Content Specialist, manage identity standards, including distribution of logo files and updating/revising logos as needed.
-Assist with adding, updating and replacing documents, files and other content on the organization's website and monitoring and posting content on the organization's social media channels.
-Coordinate the translation of the organization's publications, forms, letters and other documents and maintain documents in the requested languages.
-Serve as a resource for creating accessible digital content and helping remediate documents and other media as needed.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
