Job Summary

The bilingual Digital Marketing & Social Media Coordinator, as part of the Marketing & Communications department (MC), plays a pivotal role in effectively articulating and executing the impact of Denver Scholarship Foundation (DSF) using all digital channels to support digital brand storytelling, DSF internal and external communications, programs, and fundraising channels with the end goal of building community-wide awareness and support for the organization.  The bilingual Digital Marketing & Social Media Coordinator is a creative, brand-forward, agile Spanish-speaking professional who is responsible for developing digital marketing assets while effectively integrating marketing strategies to build brand equity and affinity. To be successful in this position, they will be a detail oriented, resourceful, collaborative, and self-motivated creative thinker.


Job Responsibilities


Digital Marketing Efforts

  • Produce Email Marketing campaigns.
  • Research and create blog content for websites.
  • Maintain online business listings and monitor customer reviews.
  • Create artwork, splash pages and microsites for digital campaigns.
  • Easily Adapts design styles and messaging for various audiences and constituent groups 
  • Prepare weekly and quarterly newsletters

Social Media

  • Coordinate with internal departments to produce content for social media channels.
  • Create, schedule and post content for social media channels.
  • Manage social media calendar

Design and Video

  • Create and execute original graphic design projects from concept development to finished production of content. Assist in design of and distribute logos, marketing materials and other graphic design, as requested.
  • Video editing 

Admin and Reporting

  •  Manage information in the Content Management System for the website, forms, staff bios, etc.
  • Assist in website Search Engine Optimization efforts including web searches and competitive research as requested 
  • Produce website traffic reports through Google Analytics quarterly and as request
  • Provide analysis on all digital KPIs (Social Media, Website, Email Communications) 
  • Oversees workflows, including project scoping, prioritization, and scheduling, to ensure timely execution.
  • Spanish Translation - Create, translate, proofread, and edit bilingual copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice and meaning across multiple platforms and audiences, while following the DSF accessibility and style guides.

  • Bilingual English and Spanish required (ability to both translate and interpret) 
  • 1-4 years of experience in digital content creation, graphic design, photography and      videography, and social media management
  • Knowledge of top photo and video editing software and trends
  • Understanding of social media platforms, analytics, and scheduling tools
  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, and Share Point is a plus
  • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, analytical, and organization skills
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgement while working independently as well with team members
  • Optimistic attitude and flexibility in a changing work environment
  • Confident in abilities to communicate in both English and Spanish
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, meet deadlines, remain under budget
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships both inside and outside the organization

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree, preferably with a concentration in marketing, communications, film, digital content creation, and/or relevant experience. 1-4 years of experience in nonprofit and/or marketing/communications or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
