The Division of Hematology, Oncology, Stem Cell Transplantation and Regenerative Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at Stanford University is seeking board certified/eligible applicants with clinical expertise in pediatric liver oncology at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level in the University Medical or Clinical Educator Line .
The major criteria for appointment for faculty in the University Medical Line shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.

Faculty/academic rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
Excellent opportunities for research program development are available with a specialty focus in pediatric liver oncology. This recruitment supports an ongoing initiative in the Department of Pediatrics to expand the Division of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, Stem Cell Transplantation and Regenerative Medicine and its growing research and clinical portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in, and experience with, clinical research in pediatric liver oncology, including the design, conduct, and leadership of clinical trials. Experience participating in or leading multi-institutional clinical trials, investigator-initiated studies, and collaborative research efforts is highly desirable. A successful candidate will have experience developing, growing, and guiding clinical and translational scholarship in pediatric oncology and a record or potential of successful collaboration and mentorship.

The expected base pay range for this position is:
Assistant Professor: $217,000 - $243,000
Associate Professor: $268,000 - $294,000
Professor: $332,000 - $370,000
This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine's faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
