As the Assistant Manager of Outlets at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you’ll take charge of a diverse array of dining experiences, assisting in overseeing everything from the vibrant Grand Café and Grand Central to the Lobby Lounge, In-Room Dining, and the lively Pool Bar.

What will you be doing?

  • Assist in managing daily food and beverage operations, including scheduling, cost control, and guest relations.
  • Have full knowledge of the menu and wine list, including preparation and service standards.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with the culinary and management teams.
  • Present ideas and concepts to management, peers, and staff persuasively.
  • Foster a strong guest service attitude in all employees.
  • Provide leadership to help departments meet their goals and objectives.
  • Effectively communicate and inspire employees to achieve set goals.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints regarding service, products, or staff.

What do you bring to the role?

  • Position requires a minimum of 1 year previous Food & Beverage and supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage operations and preparation techniques.
  • High school diploma required. College degree not required but equal work experience is required.
  • Mathematical abilities in order to determine and track inventory, controls, revenue productions, and other hotel financial statement.
  • Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve. 
  • Ability to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
