VLS Waste Services provides customized waste processing solutions for hazardous and non-hazardous industrial and commercial waste, including landfill diversion and sustainability programs, solidification of liquid waste, recycling, wastewater treatment, and waste sequestration.

Railcar Services

VLS Environmental Solutions, LLC is looking for a responsible Operations Admin to assist at our Mauldin facility, reporting to the operations supervisor. This position will be responsible for assisting in the accounting program, assisting AR, AP, and the Operations Supervisor.

Job Duties:

  1. Assist the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable as needed.
  2. Assist in the operational management systems, processes, and best practices as needed.
  3. Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale
  4. Maintain safe and clean work environment.
  5. Assist in analyzing process workflow.
  6. Oversee process workflow, employee and compliance requirements and facility needs as directed by the Operations Supervisor or Site Manager.
  7. Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints.
  8. Primary interface for inbound receipts, interact with truck drivers, review paperwork is accurate, coordinate with operations to accuracy, and communicate any non-conformances identified to appropriate personnel.

Requirements:

  1. High School Diploma/GED
  2. 2-3 years' of administrative experience
  3. At least 3 years' experience in operation procedures
  4. Ability to work well with others
  5. Excellent communication skills
  6. Great organizational skills
  7. Attention to detail
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Office, experience with SAP or other data management software recommended.
