Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time or part-time Operations and Venue Supervisor to join our team at Nova Guides in Red Cliff, Colorado. As a Operations and Venue Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our guiding, lodging, food and beverage, front desk and wedding operations, ensuring guests receive the highest quality of service.

What will you do?
  • Provide information about the facilities, local hikes, attractions, and entertainment options, and guide guests on hikes and activities
  • Train and schedule recreation team members to ensure the team is properly staffed to meet guest demand
  • Create daily agendas to ensure all work is carried out efficiently
  • Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and sanitation of all recreation equipment and facilities
  • Maintain inventories of equipment, inspect for wear and tear, and perform maintenance tasks
  • Assist in the managerial duties of the operation such as hiring, scheduling, inventory, ordering and payroll
  • Be the night manager on duty for wedding days and morning manager on duty for days the Operation/Venue Managers are unavailable 
  • Assist the Operation Manager in duties for food and beverage, housekeeping and front desk
  • Assist the Venue Manager in duties on event days and group bookings
  • Operate a company vehicle as needed
More about you
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience required
  • Minimum of 1 year of previous supervisory experience required
  • Must has a valid driver's license
  • Ability to lead, problem-solve, and operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, lodge booking software and reservation booking software
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • No college degree required

  • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and bend and stoop frequently

Nova Guides provides ATV/UTV guided tours and rentals, winter snowmobile and snow coach guided tours and rentals, and private fly fishing and archery instruction. Delaware North Team Members receive 50% off on meals on workdays, and 20% off retail shop items. Twice yearly, enjoy Free Family Day, offering free access to Jeeps, Snowmobiles, and Side-by-Sides.
