We are seeking a motivated, experienced, and hospitality-focused individual to join our team as an Operations Manager!

Key Responsibilities

โ€ข Oversee the daily operations of the hotel to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction and operational excellence
โ€ข Lead, supervise, and support hotel team members across multiple departments
โ€ข Ensure all departments consistently follow company, brand, and operational standards
โ€ข Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address guest concerns, complaints, and service recovery opportunities
โ€ข Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, and developing team members
โ€ข Create and maintain employee schedules based on business needs and staffing requirements
โ€ข Monitor staffing levels, attendance, punctuality, and overall employee performance
โ€ข Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
โ€ข Work closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Front Desk, and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations
โ€ข Monitor hotel occupancy, room availability, and operational needs
โ€ข Review daily reports, financial information, and departmental performance to identify opportunities for improvement
โ€ข Assist with controlling labor costs, operating expenses, and inventory
โ€ข Ensure proper cash handling, billing, purchasing, and financial procedures are followed
โ€ข Maintain compliance with Marriott brand standards, company policies, and applicable safety regulations
โ€ข Assist with emergency situations and ensure proper safety and security procedures are followed
โ€ข Communicate effectively with team members, management, guests, vendors, and other business partners
โ€ข Lead by example and consistently demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and exceptional customer service
โ€ข Participate in management meetings and provide updates regarding hotel operations, staffing, guest feedback, and departmental performance
โ€ข Help implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and overall hotel performance
โ€ข Maintain a professional appearance and consistent attendance
โ€ข Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications

โ€ข High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred
โ€ข Previous hotel or hospitality management experience required
โ€ข Previous supervisory or leadership experience required
โ€ข Marriott or branded hotel experience preferred
โ€ข Strong understanding of hotel operations and guest service standards
