Job description

OPERATIONS MANAGER- FT Position responsible for coordination of all maintenance and regulatory requirements including:  Corporation buildings, residences (group homes and apartment complex), vehicles, and equipment.  Must be bondable/insurable, have Montana Low Pressure Boiler license/ability to obtain, 4 years’ experience in carpentry, with electrical and plumbing background preferred, and have a Montana Driver License and acceptable driver record, No record of abuse neglect or exploitation of others. $22.00-$24.00/hr.

Monday- Friday:  8am-5pm

Closes:  9/18/26, 5pm.

OPERATIONS MANAGER

DEFINITION:  A qualified individual responsible for coordination of all maintenance and regulatory requirements including:  Corporation buildings, residences (group homes and apartment complex), vehicles, and equipment.

RESPONSIBLE TO:              CEO

MINIMUM DUTIES: (Essential functions in bold)

  1. Ensures corporation compliance with regulatory agencies in areas of operations.
  2. Maintains records of facility operations including maintenance and health and safety.
  3. Performs and coordinates preventative maintenance/repairs of Corporation owned property to include:
    1. Electrical repairs;
    2. Plumbing repairs;
    3. Carpentry/remodel requirements;
    4. Painting;
    5. Vehicle servicing/repairs, preventative maintenance;
    6. HVAC repairs;
    7. Hydraulic lifts;
    8. Operates forklift;
    9. Other repairs as required.
  4. Working independently prioritizes and coordinates work schedule according to daily maintenance requirements of the Corporation.
  5. Solicits quotations from contractors and makes recommendations for work to be performed requiring outside assistance.
  6. Ensures proper and timely completion of subcontracted work.
  7. Schedules and coordinates required inspections.
  8. Ensures company compliance with OSHA, ADA, Fire and state health department standards as they relate to facilities.
  9. Assist with implementation of Safety Program for the Corporation which may include, but is not limited to:
    1. Organizes quarterly safety meetings;
    2. Ensures compliance with OSHA and health regulations;
    3. Maintains organizational safety and inspection documentation;
    4. Ensures reports are completed and returned in a timely manner;
    5. Coordinates with Staff Development Instructor regarding Safety Training.
  10. Other duties as assigned.

General:

8.    Maintain professional and appropriate boundaries.

9.    Uses communication skills to participate effectively as a team member.

10.  Uses equipment and supplies efficiently and informs Supervisor of shortages/needs.

11.  Documents accurately work performed on Paycom and submit in a timely manner to Supervisor for approval.

12.  Documents in Data Management Systems accurately and in a timely manner.

13.  Safeguards and keeps confidential all Private and Personal Information regarding individuals with disabilities received in the course of their employment by the Corporation.

14. Practice safe work habits and follow all safety regulations and company procedures.

15.  Maintain strict confidentiality.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Operates power equipment for durations in excess of one hour.
  • Lifting requirements in excess of 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, lift, kneel, crouch, walk and stand for continuous periods of time. Bilaterally or unilaterally reach, lift, carries, pushes and/or pulls intermittently.
  • Performs work using 16-foot ladder.
  • Able to work out of doors for extended periods of time.
  • No record of abuse/neglect or exploitation of others.
  • Must have valid Montana driver’s license within 1 month of hire.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Must be bondable/insurable.
  • State of Montana Driver's license.
  • Montana Low Pressure Boiler license/ability to obtain.
  • Prefer 4 years of experience in carpentry, with electrical and plumbing background.
  •    No record of abuse/neglect or exploitation of others.
