What Youโ€™ll Do

As the Telecommunications Operations Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of one or more markets while ensuring exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, and team performance.

Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, installation technicians, dispatchers, and administrative staff.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and mentor top talent while supporting employee growth and retention.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and recognize high-performing employees.
Operational Excellence
  • Manage daily field operations to ensure installations, service calls, and projects are completed safely, on time, and within quality standards.
  • Oversee workforce scheduling, routing, and resource allocation across multiple locations.
  • Monitor key operational metrics, productivity, customer satisfaction, and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Identify process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Project & Resource Management
  • Direct multiple installation and construction projects from planning through completion.
  • Manage both in-house technicians and subcontractor partners to ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Review field documentation for quality, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Oversee fleet operations, equipment utilization, and inventory management.
Customer & Client Partnership
  • Serve as the primary operational contact for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Resolve escalated customer concerns with professionalism and urgency.
  • Maintain strong relationships with client partners while ensuring contract compliance and service excellence.
What Weโ€™re Looking For
  • 10+ years of telecommunications, cable, or broadband operations experience.
  • Proven leadership experience managing technicians, supervisors, dispatch, or field operations teams.
  • Experience overseeing multiple projects, workforces, and operational priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of installation, service, and field operations within the telecommunications industry.
  • Experience with Cox Communications operations is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using operational metrics and KPIs to drive performance.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
