The Experience Our Public Cloud engineering teams are responsible for innovating and maintaining a large scale distributed systems engineering platform that ships hundreds of features to production for tens of millions of users across all industries every day. What You'll Actually Be Doing Deliver cloud infrastructure automation tools, frameworks, workflows, and validation platforms on our public cloud platforms Designing, developing, debugging, and operating resilient distributed systems that run across thousands of compute nodes in multiple data centers Using and contributing to open source technology Develop Infrastructure-as-Code Writing microservices on containerization frameworks such as Kubernetes, Docker, Mesos Resolving complex technical issues and drive innovations that improve system availability, resilience, and performance Balancing live-site management, feature delivery, and retirement of technical debt Participate in the team's on‐call rotation to address complex problems in real‐time and keep services operational and highly available You're Our Person If You Have: Minimum of 5+ years of backend software development experience (Python) working with Cloud Architecture In-depth, hands‐on experience with Linux Systems Administration and Troubleshooting, servers, and Cloud architecture. Good knowledge of Linux internals. Proven professional work experience with Python. In‐depth understanding of OOP, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and concurrency. Public cloud engineering on GCP, AWS, and or Azure platforms. Cloud provisioning, infrastructure, and migration at cloud scale. Use of AI assisted development tools to automate DNS and infrastructure management. Solid understanding of configuring, deploying, managing, and maintaining large cloud-hosted systems. Experience with container and orchestration systems like Kubernetes, Docker, etc. Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Splunk, Puppet, Spinnaker, Terraform, git, etc. Strong understanding of fundamental network technologies like DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, SQL, HTTP, Switches, Routers. CI/CD experience with tools like Jenkins, and Travis CI. Implementation experience of large infrastructure projects.
