We are seeking a Maintenance Technician whose primary responsibility is to perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings and equipment to include plumbing, electrical, and mechanical.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leads or participates in orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, and coaching employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Maintains function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by implementing a preventive maintenance program; operating and testing systems and equipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts
  • Monitors the work order tracking software to stay abreast of work order volume, completion rates, and priority hierarchy and works with staff to achieve stated resolution goals.
  • Conducts review and/or inspections of staff work to ensure compliance with Fleet Landing polices as they relate to maintenance of buildings and grounds.
  • Keeps the Operations Manager informed of supply needs.
  • Follows established fire safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the Maintenance Services field or related areas.
  • Must have at least 3 years of management experience.
  • Technical training in electricity, plumbing, air conditioning, refrigeration, telecommunications, fire alarms, security, and nurse call systems is desirable.
