Job description

Plymouth Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is hiring an Assistant Administrator to join our team!

Plymouth Rehab is a 152-bed skilled nursing facility. This is a salaried role up to $60,000 with weekly pay.

As the Assistant Administrator, you work in tandem with the Administrator to direct the day-to-day functions of the facility to ensure that the highest degree of quality care and services are provided to our residents at all times and that staff are pleased with their working environment.

Education & Experience:

  • Must have successfully completed a Massachusetts AIT program within the last six months and be eligible to receive their state license within six months of hire, and/or already possess a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator license in the state.

  • A bachelorโ€™s degree is required, preferably in public health administration, business administration, or a health-related field.

  • Must possess a working knowledge of long-term care operational standards outlined in federal and state regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, direct, and enforce the regulatory compliance of applicable local, state, and federal regulations to meet and/or exceed the quality of care and services.

  • Enforce quality of care, quality of life, standards of practice, QI/QM to ensure positive resident outcomes.

  • Conduct rounds throughout the facility.

  • Assist in the oversight of all aspects of personnel administration.

  • Ongoing recruitment and retention of qualified personnel.

  • Help in the development of positive public relations and effective marketing.

  • Uphold and monitor daily staffing patterns to meet the needs of the residents.

  • Quality Assurance through regular mandated meetings, audits, rounds reviews, and resident, family & staff interviews.

  • Contribute to effective communication and pleasant working conditions.

  • Contribute to and promote resident and family relations.

  • Act as the Administrator in their absence.

Specific Requirements:

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

  • Must possess strong leadership and supervisory skills, and independent decision-making skills.

  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.

  • Must be willing to be on call 24 hours/7 days a week for emergency response to the facility as needed.
