We represent about 125 of the finest luxury homes, cabins, and condos across Big Sky and Moonlight Basin - from ski-in/ski-out mountain lodges to family cabins in Powder Ridge and Meadow Village.

Our team is made up of year-round residents who live here, ski here, and know every property we manage. That local knowledge and hands-on approach is what sets us apart: we treat every guest's vacation as if it were our own, and we hold our homes and our service to an exceptional standard. Alongside bookings, we support guests with ski and snowboard rental delivery, local recommendations, shipping, and trip planning, and we help homeowners get the most out of their investment through full-service property management.

Position Summary

Big Sky Vacation Rentals is seeking a detail-oriented Property Inspector to join our team in Big Sky, MT. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the exceptional standards that our guests and property owners expect from our vacation rentals. Working independently across your designated territory, you'll conduct thorough property inspections, address maintenance concerns, and ensure each property is guest-ready. This position requires a methodical approach to quality control, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work autonomously while coordinating with various departments to deliver outstanding property management services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commuting to and from properties.
  • Performing inspections for cleaning and maintenance issues.
  • Performing minor maintenance services.
  • Reporting large maintenance issues to respective departments.
  • Preparing properties for guest and owner arrivals.
  • Managing property inventory and staging.
  • Communicating effectively with internal departments, guests, owners, and vendors as needed.
  • Delivering needed items to guests.
  • Maintain professionalism while representing Big Sky Vacation Rentals on property sites.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to bend, kneel, and squat to effectively inspect properties.
