What you get to do:
You'll help lead and inspire a team to deliver great guest experiences from the get-go. You will oversee the policies and procedures, personnel, sales and merchandise, security and safety of all merchandise locations. You will also:
  • Provide and lead team to deliver superior guest service
  • Ensure excellent customer service by responding to customer requirements, expectations, and needs
  • Regularly keeps ambassadors motivated and energized
  • Open and close facility in accordance with established procedures
  • Follow up on daily operational needs and communicate all facility issues as appropriate
  • Troubleshoot and repair lockers, photo equipment, photo booths, haystack dryers and other equipment
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws including training ambassadors; planning, assigning and directing work; Access performance; rewarding and disciplining ambassadors; addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Ensure meal and rest periods are provided to ambassadors as required by Company policy
  • Successfully monitor labor management for operation (ex: sales goals, labor, line schedule targets, and progress updates to the team throughout the day)
  • Monitor stock inventory for facility, to include damage and min/max, and elevate issues to Supervisor
  • Monitor safety of ambassadors and merchandise facilities
  • Sign off on customer refunds up to $50.00
  • Maintain safety and integrity of assigned location; ensures ambassadors follow safety procedures in accordance with established safety guideline and take appropriate action; ensures ambassadors have appropriate PPE for work location
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Occasionally assist other locations and areas in the park as needed

What it takes to succeed:
  • 18 years of age or older preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous Assistant Supervisor experience at a theme park preferred
  • Outgoing, able to provide great guest service and interact favorably with public
  • Ability to self-motivate as well as motivate ambassadors
  • Strong basic math and cash handling skills
  • Basic knowledge of computers with ability to work with Windows-based software
  • Basic knowledge of financial terms for revenue department
  • Able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions; ability to lift 50+ lbs. (preferred)
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment
  • Able to stand, sit and/or walk for prolonged periods of time
