Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon Opportunity

The MedStar Orthopaedic Institute at MedStar St. Mary's Hospital is currently seeking a board certified/board eligible fellowship trained orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeon to join our practice.

Nestled in the waterside community of Leonardtown, Maryland, MedStar St. Mary's Hospital is a 120-bed, full-service hospital, delivering state-of-the-art emergency, acute inpatient and outpatient care. With innovative technology and a dedication to excellence, our clinical and administrative staff is committed to providing the highest standard of support and experience to our care team and patients. MedStar St. Mary's Hospital is a member of MedStar Health, the largest health care systems in the Washington, D.C. region.

In addition to having demonstrable core competencies in orthopaedics, the ideal candidate should possess a strong work ethic with excellent communication skills, the ability to work well within a highly collaborative team, proficiency to maintain excellent clinical documentation, an understanding of patient safety, and high reliability in patient care.

Requirements:

  • Board-eligible/board-certified in orthopaedic surgery. Fellowship in foot and ankle surgery.
  • Superior training, background, and interpersonal skills.
