Job Summary

  • The Medical Assistant supports physicians and other professional healthcare providers in the ambulatory care setting by delivering both direct and indirect patient care. This position performs routine medical assisting procedures to promote patient comfort, safety, and quality care.

Job Specifications and Core Competencies

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Completion of a one-year medical assistant program or an accredited two-year medical assisting program

  • Previous experience or training in general medical office skills and procedures preferred

Licensure:
