Job description

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine clinical tasks to support and assist medical staff
  • Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain vitals
  • Input patient data into patient's electronic medical record
  • Relay messages from provider to patient via phone

​Qualifications:

  • Possess critical thinking skills
  • Previous experience in healthcare or related medical field
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • High School diploma, some college preferred
  • Experience and knowledge of Athena software preferred
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology
  • Dependable, excellent attendance

Company Description

Del Pilar Medical & Urgent Care is a family practice and urgent care center. We have three physicians and two Physician Assistants, on-site x-ray, ultrasound and Clia-waived lab. We are currently open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 9 - 6 and 9 - 2 on Wednesday and Friday.
