Job Description

Summary:

This hands-on, ERP-focused, supply chain systems position will assist in the following:

  • Implementations of the Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 (MDAX) ERP platform
  • Specification, technical design, development, and testing of application components and customizations/enhancements for ERP and supply chain systems
  • User support and maintenance for ERP and other supply chain systems
  • Technical team support
  • Tactical and strategic direction setting


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and functional support in the areas of Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 system administration, problem resolution, support, process mapping, development, testing, security, and training.
  • Document business processes, conduct training of end users and resolve problems with AX2012 ERP other Supply Chain applications.
  • Work with end-users to analyze, design, construct and implement small applications in support of regular business operations; document applications and provide cross-functional training as needed.
  • Prepare comprehensive test plans and evaluate test results for application implementations, modifications or upgrades.
  • Ensure company policies governing data management are met including regulations concerning security, audit and privacy.
Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or two to five years related experience and/or training.
  • Knowledge and experience on Microsoft Dynamics AX2012, strong knowledge in MorphX and X++ development languages, Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, Microsoft SQL Server Analysis services and Reporting services.
  • Technical experience on Microsoft Dynamics AX2012, related to forms, reports, customizations, etc.
  • Technical experience on SQL server management, query, store procedures, triggers etc.
  • Proven Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 experience; multiple full ERP implementations preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business processes, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
  • Capacity to present information and respond to questions from groups of directors, managers, clients and the general public.
  • Mathematical skills and reasoning skills.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Capacity to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram and schedule form.
