Job description

Master Electrician - Civil Construction
Central Southern Construction is seeking an experienced Master Electrician to support electrical work on our civil construction projects. This position will primarily assist with the installation, connection, troubleshooting, and completion of electrical lighting systems and related electrical components in the field.
We are looking for someone who is experienced, dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working alongside project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and field crews.
Responsibilities
  • Install and connect electrical lighting systems for civil construction projects
  • Install conduit, wiring, fixtures, controls, panels, and related electrical components as required
  • Read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, and drawings
  • Troubleshoot electrical and lighting issues in the field
  • Ensure electrical installations are completed correctly and according to project requirements
  • Coordinate electrical work with project managers, superintendents, field crews, and other trades
  • Identify material and equipment requirements for electrical work
  • Assist with planning and sequencing electrical activities
  • Perform testing and inspections of completed electrical work
  • Ensure work complies with applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, and project specifications
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Assist with other electrical needs on civil construction projects as required
Qualifications
  • Previous commercial, industrial, or civil construction electrical experience
