Shifts: 12-hour shifts, 7 am-7 pm and 7 pm to 7 am
MUST be able to work Monday โ€“ Friday; Weekends when required, be required to be On-Call
Summary: A master electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. They must be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics, as well as possess a working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. Master electricians needs to have industrial settings experience with strong problem-solving skills.
Master Electrician Job Responsibilities
Plan, layout, and install electrical systems and components in compliance with local codes and ordinances.
Inspect completed installations for conformance to code and safety standards.
Investigate complaints about electrical systems or components and make repairs as necessary.
Maintain records of maintenance and repair work performed on electrical systems or components.
Respond to emergency calls to trouble shoot/repair equipment.
Objectives
To install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in industrial setting.
To ensure that all electrical work is performed in accordance with local, state, and national codes and regulations.
To troubleshoot electrical problems and identify their root causes.
To diagnose and repair complex electrical issues.
To develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems.
Requirements
High school diploma or similar.
Relevant license or certification.
At least 3-5 years of experience as an Electrician.
